Sea DebrisThe interesting colors from water and suds in a car wash, suggesting the debris which sadly inhabits our seas.
When my son was a little boy he was terribly afraid to go through a car wash. He would cling to me and hide his eyes against my shoulder. But a few days ago, when I was using the car wash, I suddenly realized how comforting it can actually be. I was snug inside my car as it was being pulled along, and I could just let go--no decisions, no stress, totally NOT in control! The sounds of the water washing over the car and the brushes with their hypnotizing swish, swish put me in a Zen moment. I tend to be a little claustrophobic, but even though I could not see out, I felt a sense of peace. I looked at my front window and saw a beautiful palette of blues, greens, and whites, creating a piece of art in the most unusual of places. I took this image with my phone, and to me it says "peace, beauty, release." Just what I needed that day, and perhaps, what we all need.
I love the photo and what an ingenious way to create art. I did feel at peace and the world needs more of that.

Stunning depiction of the power of an artist's photograph and commentary to magically transform a mundane chore into moments of serenity and beauty. Great addition to your already impressive Portfolio.
